dicas and Sentivision to demonstrate MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 product interoperability at IBC 2007
Berlin | 30 August 2007 Sentivision, an innovative provider of cutting edge IPTV media solutions and products for the digital entertainment markets, and dicas, a leading provider of MPEG-based video coding products and solutions, will demonstrate product interoperability of their MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 products at IBC 2007 (7 to 11 September 2007, RAI, Amsterdam) at the dicas booth in Hall 1, booth 1.180. The dicas 2010, a MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 SD encoder is designed for broadcasters, operators and enterprises delivering IPTV and Streaming services as well as for broadcast distribution and contribution. It delivers one SD channel of variable bit rate (VBR) or constant bit rate (CBR) MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video (progressive and interlaced coding) and MPEG-4 audio. Sentivision’s SV-300 IP set-top box is a single-chip, low-cost device, which features IPTV and video on demand (VOD) functionality in a small form-factor design. The SV-300 supports the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression standard for broadcast IPTV delivery. Built on TI’s DaVinci™ technology, the SV-300 delivers superb video and audio quality by utilizing the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression standard for video stream decoding. Leveraging Sentivision Media Platform™ libraries, the SV-300 is capable of presenting fast and appealing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI).
