ZDF Mediathek sees a fantastic re-launch with dicas MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 technology

German public broadcaster ZDF's new Mediathek is a tremendous success. 2 months after the re-launch, all content is now transcoded to MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 using dicas software (mpegable DS) as integral part of the overall ZDF Mediathek workflow. ZDF is also using numerous dicas 2010 MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 hardware encoders for several live events, such as the recent Athletics World Championship or Women's Football Championship.
