MPEG-4/3GPP Software Components for MS DirectShow

mpegable DS is a set of DirectShow filters used by video software applications. The mpegable DS suite provides the MPEG-4 video encoding and decoding functionality for audio/video MPEG-4 data including reading and writing standard MP4 files.

The dicas’ DirectShow filters are high performance components for MPEG-4 and 3GPP compliant encoding and decoding within the MS Windows environment.

mpegable DirectShow filters allow you to easily integrate the superior MPEG-4 format in your existing broadcast or streaming applications (for example MPEG-1/2 transmission systems). It enables application developers to play or create 3GPP content in their application. mpegable DS supports formats for mobiles, Apple's iPod and Sony's PSP.

Depending on your application's requirements mpegable DS is available in two different packages

• mpegable DS (MPEG-4/3GPP)
  Includes MPEG-4/3GPP encoder/decoder -- MPEG-4 ASP & H.263 video, AAC LC & AMR
  
  
• mpegable DS (AVC)
  Includes MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 encoder/decoder -- MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video, AAC LC audio

With the mpegable DS the possibilities of creationg content and/or advanced streaming are nearly inexhaustible on encoder side as well as on decoder side.

The powerful and most sophisticated set of mpegable DS filters is composed of following components.
