mpegableDS is a family of video SDKs designed for the Broadcast, IPTV, Internet TV, Mobile TV, Surveillance and Video Conferencing industries. Each package of mpegableDS contains a particular set of high performance DirectShow® filters for MPEG-4, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and 3GPP compliant real-time encoding and decoding within the MS Windows environment.

mpegableDS is available in four different flavours:

• mpegableDS Professional
• mpegableDS HighDef
• mpegableDS Mobile
• mpegableDS Flash

Each mpegableDS package allows you to easily integrate the superior MPEG-4 format into video software applications, workflows or end-user software products. The components of mpegableDS amongst others are used in Video on Demand, Unicast and Multicast Live Streaming, Video Editing and Transcoding.

mpegableDS provides MPEG-4 video/audio encoding and decoding functionalities as well as reading and writing standard MP4 files. The mpegableDS family contains packages for live streaming with the latest version of Adobe's Flash Media Server 3 and ISMA compliant RTP streaming within the MS Windows environment.

Content created using mpegableDS can be played back on devices such as Apple’s iPod and iPhone, Sony’s PSP, various 3G handsets and software players such as Adobe Flash Player, QuickTime and VLC. The decoders of mpegable DS immediately enable the Window Media player to playback all MP4/ 3GPP content.
